Our staff is uniquely trained and highly skilled, and we strive to provide unparalleled service to each patient. Our staff consists of TEAM members with specialized training and certifications, and years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Crystal Guerra
Office Manager
Crystal was introduced to our practice in October of 2008 as an extern in training from Kaplan Career Institute. She was then offered a position as a Registered Dental Assistant and is certified to place sealants and do coronal polishing. Crystal has now been promoted to office manager, specializing in scheduling and accounts receivable. Crystal loves her job and being part of a great TEAM which strives to create and maintain beautiful smiles! She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Michael, and their children.
Amy Council
Hygiene Coordinator
In 2017, Amy become part of our Seguin Smiles TEAM as our hygiene
coordinator. She brings to the practice many years of experience in the
dental field. Fourteen of those years were spent as a pediatric dental
assistant. Her bubbly personality, dental knowledge, and great people
skills make her a perfect fit for our office. In her free time, Amy
enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and taking trips to
the beach.
Lindsay May
Marketing Manager
Lindsay has always been in the dental field and loves being at Seguin Smiles. Her favorite part is seeing a patient see their new smile and love it. When Lindsay is not at the office she is camping with her family, cooking or gardening.
Michelle Rios
Registered Dental Assistant
Michelle graduated from Seguin High School in 2014 and joined the Seguin Smiles TEAM in June 2018. Michelle was born and raised in Seguin. Michelle attended Kaplan College where she graduated with a registered dental assistant certification. Michelle’s favorite thing about Seguin Smiles is working with her friendly co-workers. Michelle has been married to her husband, Noah, since August 2015, and they have two girls together. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family.
Christi Talley
Registered Dental Assistant
Christi graduated from Concorde Career College with honors in 2015. In 2017 she decided to go back to school and graduated from Northeast Lakeview with an Associates of Science and Microbiology in 2021. In the future Christi would like to attend Coastal-Bend or UTHSCSA to become a Hygienist.
Christi loves getting to know our patients and being a part of a tight-knit and dedicated TEAM. In her spare time she enjoys watching documentaries in every genre, jet skiing on the weekends, and recently picked up a new hobby in horseback riding.
Tiffany Frothingham
Registered Dental Hygienist
Tiffany joined the Seguin Smiles TEAM in August 2013. She graduated with honors from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2013, achieving a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Like some of the other members of the TEAM, she also attended Texas Lutheran University for a short period of time. Tiffany has some experience in dental assisting, as well as hygiene recall and insurance.
She enjoys spending her time with her family and friends in her free time. She also enjoys hunting and being outdoors!
Brianna Castanon
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brianna joined our Seguin Smiles team in June of 2018. Brianna hails from the Texas panhandle, but moved to Seguin after her husband’s job was transferred to the area. Brianna attended Amarillo College, where she graduated in 2017 with an Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene. Brianna enjoys working for Seguin Smiles because it is a state-of-the-art practice, where patient care and comfort is the number one priority. Brianna loves working in the dental field and building relationships with her patients. Outside of work, Brianna likes to spend time with her husband, travel, and shop.
Barbara Brady
Registered Dental Hygienist
Barbara joined the Seguin Smiles TEAM in 2019, and we are so thankful for her flexibility and care for our patients. She got her hygiene degree at Bee County College, now Coastal Bend College, in 1987. She loves that Seguin Smiles feels like family as well as the care that Dr. Weinman has for all patients. In her spare time, she enjoys working in the yard, swimming, boating on Lake Placid, and working out.
Hannah Maltony
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hannah was born and raised in Seguin. She graduated from Seguin High School in 2016. She then went to Wharton County Junior College and graduated in 2019 with her associates in applied science – dental hygiene. She likes the family atmosphere, sweet patients, and pretty view here at Seguin Smiles. In her free time, she likes spending time with her family and close friends and spoiling her two puppies. She enjoys going to the beach every summer and hopes to have children in the next few years.
