Janice Weinman, D.D.S.

Owner and General & Cosmetic Dentist at Seguin Smiles

Dr. Janice Vlasak Weinman is a dedicated and experienced dentist in Seguin, Texas who has been providing compassionate, high-quality dental care to patients of all ages for over three decades. She opened her solo general and cosmetic dental practice, Seguin Smiles, in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility in July 2008. Before establishing her practice in Seguin, Dr. Weinman served patients in Gonzales, Texas from 1989 to 2008 and in San Antonio in 1988.

Continuing her commitment to the Gonzales community, Dr. Weinman will open a satellite office, Smiles of Gonzales, on March 1, 2026. The new practice will be located in the very same building where she proudly served patients from 1989 to 2008—bringing her career full circle and expanding access to caring, quality dentistry in the area.

Dr. Weinman earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas Lutheran College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center. With over 35 years of experience, she offers comprehensive dental services and works closely with a trusted network of specialists for complex cases requiring advanced care.

Dr. Weinman is married to Kevin Seider, whom she reconnected with after 35 years. They married in November 2015, the same month Kevin transferred his position with the Texas Department of Transportation to the Seguin office. The couple shares a love for the outdoors, especially hunting—Kevin’s lifelong passion. Outside the office, Dr. Weinman enjoys traveling both nationally and internationally, swimming, hiking, and spending time in the kitchen. She is especially known for baking birthday cakes for her TEAM, family, and friends, and cherishes time spent with the many close friendships she has been blessed with over the years.

Dr. Weinman is also the proud mother of Dr. Janelle Leon-Weinman, who joined Seguin Smiles as an associate dentist in 2024 after completing her education and advanced training. Dr. Leon-Weinman is honored to work alongside her mom and continue the family’s legacy of providing compassionate dental care to the Seguin and Gonzales communities.

Megan Stivers, D.D.S.

Dr. Megan Stivers was born and raised in Mansfield, TX. She attended Texas A&M University, followed by Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. Gig'em! She takes pride in making each patient feel comfortable and cared for at our office. One of her favorite parts of dentistry is seeing the impact that restoring a patient's smile has and the visual satisfaction it brings.

Dr. Stivers married her high school sweetheart, John, in 2020. John is a middle school teacher and coach, and the couple shares a love of sports. Their favorite time of year is the fall because every weekend is spent watching Texas A&M Aggie and Dallas Cowboys football. Dr. Stivers grew up on the soccer field, and being outside is still one of her favorite things. You can often find her walking on the trail on a Saturday morning.

Janelle Leon-Weinman, D.D.S.

Dr. Janelle Leon-Weinman is very excited to be back in Seguin and a part of the Seguin Smiles TEAM! Dr. Leon grew up in Seguin and graduated from Seguin High School in 2014. She graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019 with her Master of Science in Business. Dr. Leon attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2023. She completed a yearlong residency in June 2024 in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Affairs Dental Clinic in Temple, Texas. During Dr. Leon’s residency she focused on learning advanced dental procedures, including placing implants and sedation dentistry.

Dr. Leon loves working in the dental field because of the relationships she is able to build, the excellent hands on work she is able to provide her patients, and the TEAM collaboration that goes into quality care. The best thing about Dr. Leon’s time in the Midwest is that she met Luke, her husband! The two got married in Seguin in March of 2025. Luke grew up in the Chicago area, works in technology, and is a big sports fan. The couple enjoys attending a variety of sporting events together. Dr. Leon also loves reading, knitting, cooking, and hiking. Dr. Leon is very grateful for the broad perspective that her 10 years away from Seguin provided her. Her time away made her very sure that Seguin is the community she wants to build her future in!
